Tara and Jason are the kind of people you meet on the first day and instantly become best friends. I heard their voices on the phone and after the first five minutes I knew we were a perfect match. They shared their love story with me and shared how they wanted an intimate ceremony. They chose to say their vows in a beautiful back yard venue at The Oxford House in Los Angeles.
Everything about their wedding day was so special. They both got ready in the house together and shared a first look sitting side by side on the grooviest retro couch. We laughed, cried, checked our pulses throughout the day to make sure we were still alive from all the magic happening around us, and boogied the night away below a twinkly lit treehouse. Sound like a dream? It was an absolute dream to shoot.
I will forever be grateful for being asked to shoot their wedding and cherish that they treated me as though I were a part of their family rather than another vendor. True gems indeed.
